Pond lovers

Other Creatures

You might find an old piece of carpet tile or a brick tucked away in the gardens. Lift it up carefully and peep underneath – but please remember to replace it carefully!

The creatures below are: Araneus quadratus, Caterpillar, Newt, Snail Slug and Woodlouse, Garden Snails. 

This enormous anthill was discovered when we mowed the meadow in autumn. All summer it had gone unnoticed, hidden by the long grass.
